Symposium: Cultural diversity at work – Safe and Healthy Integration of Skilled Workers

27–29 May 2024 | DresdenGermany

What does safe and healthy collaboration look like in a culturally diverse workplace? The interaction between migration and occupational health and safety will be the focus of the international symposium "Cultural Diversity at Work – Safe and Healthy Integration of Skilled Workers," to be held May 27–29, 2024, in Dresden, Germany in a hybrid format.

In a diverse world of work, companies looking for skilled workers face the challenge of onboarding newly hired employees with a migration background in a safe and healthy way. What challenges do they and their employees face in this regard, and how can the accident insurance institutions provide support?

Other questions to be discussed at the symposium include:

  • How can workplaces be made safe and healthy despite language barriers?
  • What does healthy leadership look like in a culturally diverse workplace?
  • How does cultural diversity at work contribute to a culture of prevention?

The international symposium is jointly organized by the International Sections of the ISSA on Prevention in Health Care Services and on Prevention in Transportation.

Further information, including program and registration is available at the symposium website.

Registration for your attendance in person in Dresden is possible until 13th May 2024. Registration is open for online participation until 17 May 2024.
