An “Electronic Employment Record Book” (EERB) is one of the main projects of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PFR) that has been successfully implemented for almost two years now. This is a new format for recording information on citizens’ employment.

An EERB provides to employees and companies constant and convenient access to information about professional activities and eliminates outdated forms of personnel records, and the additional costs for employers associated with this process.

In March 2020, the coronavirus pandemic broke out in Israel.

What began as a health crisis soon turned into an economic crisis, which led many workers to go on forced unpaid leave and went to the National Insurance Institute (NII) for assistance. There was a need to find creative solutions within the limits of the law and the data available to the NII, and to find workable and quick solutions that would allow the payment of unemployment benefits to unpaid workers.

The technology for registration of travel for citizens with preferential category to the place of treatment and back on long-distance trains using electronic coupons of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation (FSS RF) is a joint project of the FSS RF, the Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railways (JSC RR) and the Joint Stock Company Federal Passenger Company (JSC FPK). Since 2018, it has gradually spread to all regions of Russia.

Personal Information Navigator for persons injured at work is a project of the Social Insurance Fund (SIF) of the Russian Federation that started in 2017 and was extended to all the regions of Russia in 2021. The main goal of the project is to introduce a system of advance notice for persons who suffer from labour accidents through which the regional offices of the SIF of the Russian Federation can inform them of their rights to technical means of rehabilitation, prosthetic and orthopaedic devices and other such appliances, whether as initial supplies or as replacements.

The implementation of improved services by local authorities of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PFRF) is aimed at providing the absolute majority of citizens with the opportunity to receive pensions without having to be physically present at a local PFRF office. Now, the granting of pensions is only based only on an extract of the insured person’s individual account which contains the required full information to award the pension such as length of service, wages and insurance contributions.

Using this attachment and the supporting technological infrastructure, members of the public can submit account queries and receive answers.
