Holistic rehabilitation programmes combine care, return-to-work efforts, social support, and environmental factors to address mental health challenges comprehensively.

In rehabilitation and disability insurance, support must give priority to tailored job placement, including assessments, counselling, precise job matching and accompaniment.

Additionally, strategies like flexible work arrangements, peer support networks, and mental health awareness training help integrate individuals with mental health challenges into the workforce effectively, enabling them to manage their conditions while maintaining employment.

By integrating these examples, organizations can foster inclusive work environments that empower individuals with mental health challenges to thrive professionally while prioritizing their well-being.

This ISSA Webinar will analyse the impact of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) on job placement and training, contrasting it with traditional vocational rehabilitation, and exploring key issues like mental health rehabilitation. In addition, return to work for individuals with mental health issues stemming from occupational illness will also be investigated.

Join us for this ISSA Webinar, the tenth of a series of webinars organized in collaboration with the ISSA Working Group on Rehabilitation, on various aspects of this major challenge related to the ISSA’s four triennial topical priorities.
