XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work

Section on Education and Training for Prevention at the XXII World Congress

The ISSA Education and Training for Prevention section hosted a well-received session at the recent XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, engaging and collaborating with delegates from across the globe.

Running from 20 to 23 September 2021, and hosted by Canada, the event embraced the theme of ‘prevention in the connected age: global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all’.

On behalf of the section, IOSH President Elect Louise Hosking hosted the symposium entitled ‘Training for Vision Zero’ on Tuesday 21 September with a technical agenda looking at to what extent training and education can serve organizations on the road to Vision Zero? This symposium examined ways responsible organizations develop a positive, caring work culture and safe, healthy and productive workforces through training and education.
