The ISSA Prevention Section for Electricity, Gas and Water and the Latin American Association for Safety and Hygiene at Work (Asociación Latinoamericana de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo – ALASEHT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 51st Congreso Nacional e Internacional de Seguridad and the 23rd JOLASEHT in Mexico City, 5–7 November. Vison Zero was also on the agenda. 

The aim of the MoU is to strengthen the collaboration between the ISSA and ALASEHT in the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases in Latin America.

In three sessions dedicated to the Vision Zero strategy, various Vision Zero ambassadors presented the latest tools, experience reports on the application of Vision Zero in various sectors and implementation at corporate level during the conference. The Vision Zero stand at the SeguExpo2024 health & safety exhibition offered further opportunities for dialogue and networking (www.cnis.mx/programa-cnis/).
