Back to campus: The 2023 Diploma training programme

In 2023, the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and its training partners present a full programme of onsite training, after three years of e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be 17 courses on nine topics and in three languages between May and November 2023.

The pandemic and lockdowns have caused major interruptions in the world of learning. ISSA training partners worked hard and were able to rapidly put in place e-learning Diploma training courses. Innovative ways of teaching and learning were developed in record time, and the online courses turned out to be very popular and achieved great results.

Despite the benefits of online learning – including less costs, ease of access, self-paced learning and flexibility – both ISSA members, and the trainers, missed the onsite trainings. It is therefore a great pleasure to welcome ISSA members back again this year to onsite courses in France, Italy, Jordan and Oman.

The ISSA Diploma programme is based on the various ISSA Guidelines on Social Security Administration, and training is delivered  by the following training partners: in English by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), in Arabic by the Muhanna Foundation and in French by the National School of Social Security (École nationale supérieure de sécurité sociale – EN3S).

“This year, EN3S will offer four training courses on the ISSA Guidelines, two of which are new courses. Each provides operational methods and tools, and is based on a methodological and illustrative approach, thanks to expert testimonials and technical visits to social security institutions”, said Arnaud Emériau, Director of International Strategy at EN3S.

“At the ITCILO we are working with great enthusiasm at the preparation of the seven parallel courses that will take place in May. We are really looking forward to welcoming participants back on campus for what is bound to be a stimulating and rewarding learning and knowledge sharing experience for all”, said Charles Crevier, Programme Manager at the ITCILO.

“We are excited to deliver onsite trainings, providing a valuable opportunity for cross-pollination and interaction among participants, as we collectively strive to advance our understanding and practice in the crucial field of social security", said Ibrahim E. Muhanna, Chairman at the Board of Trustees of the Muhanna Foundation.

Together with its partners, the ISSA has established a comprehensive training programme from May to November 2023. please explore the training schedule below, and  individual courses, to know the registration deadlines and prices.
