The ISSA Guidelines for Social Security Administration were prepared by the ISSA General Secretariat with the ISSA technical commissions.

The ISSA Guidelines on Workplace Health Promotion were produced under the auspices of the ISSA Special Commission on Prevention chaired by Olaf Petermann of the Statutory Accident Insurance for Energy, Textile, Electro and Mediaproducts (Berufsgenossenschaft Energie Textil Elektro Medienerzeugnisse, BGETEM) and the Technical Commission on Medical Care and Sickness Insurance, chaired by Chakib Tazi Sidqui of the National Sickness Insurance Agency, Morocco. The Guidelines were prepared by a team at the ISSA General Secretariat, led by Bernd Treichel. Expert support and contributions were provided by Karla Van den Broek of Prevent, Belgium; John Griffiths of Work2Health, United Kingdom; Gregor Breucker of the Company Health Insurance Funds (Betriebskrankenkassen, BKK-Dachverband), Germany; Klaus Ropin and Manuela Pirker of Fonds Gesundes Österreich, Austria; Jorma Jarvisalo, Social Insurance Institution, Finland; and the European Network For Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP).

This revised version (2019) was prepared by Bernd Treichel with the support from the ISSA Special Commission on Prevention and the Technical Commission on Medical Care and Sickness Insurance. Review, commentary and other inputs were generously provided by ISSA member institutions.
