The institution establishes a work design framework (see for example that is flexible and adapts to an environment that evolves with technologies, human resource capacities as well as smart and agile ways of working. The framework allows the institution to evaluate the socio-technical dynamics of the work environment, aims to improve and innovate the functions and the experience of work processes, and adheres to the institution’s strategic and productivity goals. It enables the efficient design of jobs based on available resources. It enhances the agility of the institution, motivates and is meaningful for staff, and enables the workforce to continuously adapt to the functions of the future. A well-designed job leads to higher productivity and quality of work, higher job satisfaction, lower absences and lower employee turnover.
