Human Resource Management in Social Security Administration -
Guideline 5. Promoting a data-driven, client-centric culture in the institution

The descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive capabilities of digital technologies generate huge amounts of information that can promote a data-driven, client-centric culture in the institution. The predictable routine parts of business processes can be automated and the workforce can focus on unpredictable, non-routine parts that require skills that are inherently human. For both types of work, HR ensures that the workforce develops agility and confidence in the use of data and information to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of all activities, including problem-solving, innovation, client service and accountability in the decision-making process.

The ISSA Guidelines on Information and Communication Technology provides further guidance on data governance frameworks.
