Continuity and Resilience of Social Security Services and Systems -
D. Deployment of Responses

This part presents the guidelines for the deployment of responses, in other words, the delivery of assistance beyond the institution’s regular services. This set of guidelines builds on the guidelines for the continuity of existing services (Part C). The guidelines in part C are relevant for the deployment of responses and are not reiterated in Part D. The rationale for presenting separate guidelines for different types of responses, as opposed to merging all of them in a single guideline, is that they have different institutional implications.
