In Kazakhstan, as part of the digitalization of the social and labour sphere, an Electronic labour exchange (hereinafter ‒ ELE) has been created, which is a single digital employment platform that provides opportunities for job search and assistance in personnel selection. ELE creates modern conditions for the involvement of the population in productive employment, enables citizens to find a job, and employers to select the necessary personnel. By registering on the platform an access to the database of vacancies, résumés, different educational courses as well as publication of vacancies, résumés and other information is provided 24 hours and free of charge.
To achieve this goal, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized integration with information systems of other state bodies. Nowadays, 330,700 applicants have registered on the ELE platform, where 185,000 applicants were employed during this year, which amounted to 30.3 percent of all registered job seekers through the ELE.
