Argentina’s Superintendency of Occupational Risks (Superintendencia de Riesgos del Trabajo – SRT) offers training on occupational risk prevention and the functioning of the Occupational Risk System. This training is available for workers, employers, public and private bodies, trade unions and trade associations and all levels of educational establishments, as well as any other social actor that needs this service.
In the current context of digitalization and owing to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a need emerged for a virtual learning environment that could overcome the barriers of time and space.
Accordingly, the SRT’s virtual classroom (Aula Virtual) was introduced as a learning platform offering training pathways with a variety of online courses and simple, up-to-date information that is available at any time. The aim was to incorporate knowledge related to workplace risks, procedures, prevention strategies and good, healthy and safe working practices.
Providing this kind of training is part of the process of ensuring Argentina’s working community have better, open and inclusive access to knowledge, for both employees and employers.
