INSSJUD: The automatic execution of social security rulings

Implementation year
2021

INSSJUD is a system that sends automated communications between the assessment units of Brazil’s National Social Security Institute (Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social – INSS) and the federal and state courts. It enables rulings on social security entitlements to be executed with no manual input from an INSS official, using only the data submitted to PREVJUD, the social security information and automation service (Serviço de Informação e Automação Previdenciário), through which the judiciary sends information to the INSS. In so doing, INSSJUD enables the quicker and more efficient execution of judicial rulings and allows INSS officials to focus on more complex cases.
