The launch of the Institutional Corporate University (Universidad Corporativa Institucional – UCID) forms part of the learning transformation strategy of Costa Rica’s Pension and Retirement Board of the National Teachers’ Union (Junta de Pensiones y Jubilaciones del Magisterio Nacional – JUPEMA). The UCID was established to develop workers’ knowledge and skills, strengthening both their technical and their soft skills, forming a network of internal facilitators, and innovating in teaching and learning methods.
The initiative was born out of a desire to bring learning processes into line with strategic objectives in order to deliver operational excellence to members.
We have also sought to manage change and institutional culture through agile and functional learning practices, in accordance with the following values:
