Eswatini National Provident Fund goes digital: Introduction of MyENPF mobile app, employer and member portal

In line with the International Social Security Association’s ISSA Guidelines on Service Quality, ISSA Guidelines on Contribution Collection and Compliance, as well as ISSA Guidelines on Information and Communication Technology, Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF, hereafter the Fund) has since digitized by introducing a mobile app, member, and employer portals.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in the year 2020, the Fund became robust and intentional in transforming to a world-class social security organization, and one that its members are proud to be associated with through its 2020–2025 strategy to digitize.

The calibre of the members it serves is now tech savvy, unlike in the past where a majority of its members struggled to use digital technologies. The demographics of its members are slowly changing into a new generation, and the Fund seeks to be relevant to that kind of customer base and continues to keep up with the pace so that it remains relevant.
