Rationalizing the printing facilities of the IPS National Social Insurance Fund

Implementation year
2019

Prior to 2019, the IPS National Social Insurance Fund (IPS Caisse nationale de prévoyance sociale – IPS CNPS) of Côte d’Ivoire had 412 rented printing facilities (printers, fax machines, scanners) and copiers. The maintenance and rental of this equipment, as well as the purchase of consumables, entailed considerable costs.

The IPS CNPS therefore wished to reduce and control these costs by implementing a policy to rationalize printing facilities on the basis of an audit that has been carried out.

The implementation of this policy has led to the establishment of a centralized and secure print management system.

This new management system has made it possible to achieve the following objectives:

  • The reduction and control of costs.
  • The reduction of consumption of consumables and energy consumption.

In view of the satisfactory operating results between 2019 and 2021, the policy has been renewed for the period 2022–2026.
