The Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 2 to 4 October 2018, at the invitation of the Social Security Organisation (Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial – PERKESO) of Malaysia.
The triennial Forum is the most important social security event in the region. A key networking opportunity, it provides a unique platform for CEOs and senior managers of ISSA member institutions to discuss key social security challenges, be inspired by innovative solutions and define strategies to shape the future of social security in Asia and the Pacific. Member institutions will be invited to contribute to the programme design through a survey, which will be sent to all members in the region.
A highlight of the Forum will be the ISSA Good Practice Award for Asia and the Pacific recognizing achievements in the region. The call for submissions for the ISSA Good Practice Award for Asia and the Pacific competition 2018 will open in April 2018.
The Forum programme will cover the following areas:
- Day 1: Ten key challenges for social security in Asia and the Pacific
- Day 2: Excellence in social security administration
- Day 3: Innovative solutions to shape the future of social security in the region and Regional Social Security Summit
