From 4 to 6 June, around 945 participants, exhibitors and speakers met at the Forum Prävention 2024 in Innsbruck. The Austria's most important specialist event in the field of prevention, organized annually by AUVA, offered a multifaceted platform for training, exchange and insight into trends in occupational safety and health.
This year's three main themes were “Vision Zero”, “Modern prevention concepts” and “Digitalisation”. They ran through the lecture and workshop programme of various sessions and were interactively addressed at the ISSA International Seminar. Keynote speaker, trend researcher and entrepreneur Franz Kühmayer opened the Forum. Among other things, he addressed the changes brought about by digitalisation and inspired the expert audience to think ahead and reflect on how to shape the future of work.
AUVA is also addressing the impact of digitalisation on our working environment with its new prevention campaign ''Together Safe Digital''. Officially launched at the Prävention Forum, the campaign will run until 2026. More than 60 companies once again presented their latest products at the “Prävention aktuell” exhibition, which always takes place alongside the congress. These ranged from measurement technology, office equipment and safety components to first aid products.
The next Forum Prävention International will take place from 20 to 22 May 2025 in Vienna. The concept of an international and a national part of the programme introduced in 2023 will be continued next year.
