The new ISSA Collaborative Innovation Hub aims to support member institutions develop innovation projects and generate or strengthen their permanent innovation capacity.
The degree to which social security organizations have institutional innovation systems in place rests on a number of factors. These include: the sponsorship of their top leadership, a coherent innovation strategy that ensures a balance between exploration and policy alignment across the organization, the focus on initiatives that contribute to business strategies and therefore creates value for users. It also includes: the technical and financial capacity to support innovation across the enterprise, as well as the promotion of a culture of innovation that encourages and rewards innovation amongst employees.
The Collaborative Innovation Hub will include projects proposed and developed by ISSA members following a co-creation model. It will support project-based collaboration to develop innovative tools and instruments of high value for the effective and efficient implementation of institutional mandates. This webinar focuses on approaches and practices of innovation in social security organizations in South America. It will present the Innovation Hub and the ideas for collaboration enriched by proposals from the ISSA Technical Commissions.
