Data usage and conditions of participation
for the maritime shipping industry conference 2021
By registering for the digital maritime shipping industry conference 2021, I agree to the collection, storage and use of the personal data provided by me as well as the special data in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act.
By registering, I expressly agree that the BG Verkehr may pass on my first and last name and my e-mail address to the agency B.EFFECTIVE GmbH & Co. KG and third parties commissioned by the latter for the purpose of organizing the above-mentioned event and to use them for its own purposes. In particular, I consent to the creation of a password and its transmission by e-mail and the storage of the data on a server in Europe by a third-party company.
As a participant of the digital event, I will receive an unencrypted e-mail with my registration data. Only with the received, personal registration data it is possible to register on the event platform and participate in the event. Via the event platform I can access a live stream. I hereby confirm that I will not pass on my personal registration data or any information and documents that I receive in connection with the digital event to third parties or make them available to third parties.
During the event it is possible to participate in digital interactions. This includes for example:
- Chatting - by text, sound or even as video chat in private chat rooms or in general chats.
- Participation in surveys.
- Sending questions to the studio.
Questions to the studio or survey results are collected in a database and assigned to the participants, so they cannot be anonymized. However, anonymized data evaluations can be provided for the BG Verkehr. I also give my consent to this.
I agree that my first and last name, my data transmitted by text or image may be used for the purposes described above in the context of the digital event.
Cookies are used on the event platform. Cookies ensure that the platform functions smoothly. Cookies also regulate the registration on the platform - without cookies you cannot log in. It is also planned to evaluate user behavior on the event platform anonymously using the analytics solution https://matomo.org. Cookies are also used for this purpose. The deletion of the data stored on the server can be carried out uniformly at the request of BG Verkehr, at the request of B.EFFECTIVE GmbH & Co. KG or at the request of the participants, but will be automatically deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the digital event.
The data processed by cookies are required for the above-mentioned purposes in order to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with article 6, section 1, page 1 letter f GDPR.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that a message always appears before a new cookie is created. Disabling cookies completely may mean that you will not be able to use all the features of our website.
I can revoke my consent to the use of my data at any time with effect for the future.
According to article 15 GDPR, I am entitled to obtain information about my stored data.
According to article 17 GDPR, I have the right to demand the correction, deletion and blocking of individual personal data.
