The Muhanna Foundation invites ISSA members to onsite Diploma training courses in Arabic.
Good governance is central to effective delivery of social security. This course draws on international best-practice guidelines to provide a general framework and guiding principles on good governance.
This is one of six ISSA Diploma training courses run in partnership with the Muhanna Foundation in 2024, offered in Arabic in a face-to-face format.
Training course: ISSA Guidelines on Good Governance
Training institution: The Muhanna Foundation
Training venue: Doha, Qatar
Training period: 13–17 October 2024
Region: Open to all ISSA member institutions
The diversity in governance practices around the world reflects differences in the political,
social, economic and cultural histories of countries. There is common recognition, however, that good
governance is aimed at delivering what is mandated and ensuring that what is delivered is responsive
to the evolving needs of the individual and society. The ISSA Guidelines on Good Governance present a checklist of the essential elements which engender and support good governance within the institutions. The course will give suggestions on how to apply the guidelines in a way they facilitate structures and mechanisms that enforce good governance.
Who can participate?
The training course is designed for social security professionals of ISSA member institutions who have a professional interest in the application of the ISSA Guidelines on Good Governance.
