1st African Social Security Institutions Coordination and Cooperation Forum

New dates: Please note that the 1st African Social Security Institutions Coordination and Cooperation Forum has been moved from 24–25 September to 25–26 September 2024. 

The African Union Commission, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) will organize the 1st African Social Security Institutions Coordination and Cooperation Forum (ASSCCF) under the theme Fostering Inclusive Social Security in Africa: Extending Coverage to the Informal Economy, Rural Sector, and Migrant Workers.

The ASSCCF was officially inaugurated on 19 May 2023 during the ISSA Regional Social Security Forum for Africa in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. CEOs of ISSA member organizations in Africa are invited to participate in this first ASSCCF gathering, in which the ISSA Guidelines on Social Security Administration will be presented.
