The Regional Social Security Forum for Africa took place in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania, from 5 to 7 December 2011, at the invitation of the National Social Security Fund. This Forum provided a key platform for the sharing of information and discussion of the most important regional social security trends and priority issues in Africa.
A unique networking opportunity, the Forum brought together social security administrators, policy-makers and international and regional organizations and debated the important contribution that social security can make faced with the economic and social challenges of the African region.
