Absence from the workplace due to accidents and sickness is a major challenge for the world of work and for social security systems. Prevention of occupational accidents and diseases helps to reduce absenteeism from work. It is the goal of many insurance schemes to maintain the employability of workers and to bring back those who are not in active employment due to work related sickness or accident.
The objective of the event is to report on the potential benefits of rehabilitation and reintegration programs as well as on the latest developments in this area.
