As globalization continues to advance unstintingly, its impacts at national and international level must be addressed, and the associated challenges for occupational safety and health faced.

The coronavirus pandemic has dramatically revealed the vulnerabilities of today's economy, particularly to sudden global threats.

This event will draw attention to current challenges in the management of global supply chains and raise awareness for cross-border implementation of occupational safety and health measures.

The papers and best-practice examples will permit insights into how companies deal with challenges, what approaches they have chosen, and what factors are critical for their success. This input is intended to provoke critical reconsideration of attendees' own supply chain practices and to lead to new approaches to the management of occupational safety and health along supply chains.

The A+A Congress will take place in a hybrid form. Both digital and live participation are possible for both speakers as well as participants. The languages of our Symposium will be German and English. Simultaneous interpretation will be available.
