The ISSA study “Calculating the International Return on Prevention for Companies” provides compelling evidence that prevention pays off. However, there are more reasons why occupational safety and health is important from an executive’s perspective. 

In close cooperation with DV Conseils, on 13 September 2021, 13:00 – 14.30 (UTC/GMT+2 or CEST) the International Section of the ISSA for Electricity, Gas and Water will hold a webinar on the topic “Ten Reasons Why Your CEO Should be Convinced to Take OSH Seriously”. This webinar builds on a leaflet of the same name published by the section and will provide arguments on how to transform occupational health and safety from a constraint into a business opportunity with the CEO’s involvement. It is intended for OSH professionals, executives from the industry as well as other individuals interested in the topic.   

The webinar will be held in English and participation is free of charge. It will include a lecture by Dominique Vacher (DV Conseils / Former Vice President of the Section for Electricity, Gas and Water), presenting the aforementioned ten reasons followed by a roundtable with experts, experienced in dealing with OSH matters on an international level. In the agenda, you will find more information on the participating panelists.

The platform for the webinar will be Webex Events. The day of the webinar, we highly recommend you to log in a bit earlier to check your connection/audio setup. The event platform will be open starting 12.00/noon (CEST / UTC +2).
