The ISSA Academy provides hands-on support for social security administrations. The ISSA Academy workshops are a key element of the member support offered by the ISSA's Centre for Excellence in Social Security Administration. The Centre assists member institutions in working towards good governance, high performance and service quality, based on the internationally-recognized professional standards defined in the ISSA Guidelines.
The Academy workshops are designed to provide managers and experts of member institutions working on the implementation of administrative improvements based on the ISSA Guidelines with opportunities to exchange, learn and solve problems.
Academy workshops are practical and goal-oriented and allow for addressing the specific needs of each institution represented. ISSA accredited experts lead the workshops, facilitate the learning process and add value through their experience and advice. A preparatory phase as well as post-workshop follow up ensure targeting and impact.
The workshops represent a new type of ISSA member service and respond to the expressed needs of members for practical and concrete learning and problem-solving opportunities.
