Social security mechanisms are essential for optimizing resource allocation in health care systems, operating at national and institutional levels to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of health care provision.

At the national level, social security mechanisms establish frameworks and policies to allocate resources effectively and address diverse health care needs. Through strategic planning, they aim to optimize resource utilization, guaranteeing equal access to health care services, irrespective of socioeconomic status or geographical location.

Meanwhile, at the institutional level, social security mechanisms steer spending priorities, ensure efficient fund allocation, and improve care delivery, enhancing the overall system efficiency.
