The new ISSA Collaborative Innovation Hub aims to support member institutions develop innovation projects and generate or strengthen their permanent innovation capacity.
Social security institutions have been required to go beyond marginal improvements and develop transformative innovative strategies, in order to respond to policy developments and client demands for high-quality service delivery. To emerge and flourish, innovation tends to be grounded in open collaborative ecosystems that encourage creativity and co-innovation, and involve the formation of organizational capabilities.
The Collaborative Innovation Hub will include projects proposed and developed by ISSA members following a co-creation model. It will support project-based collaboration to develop innovative tools and instruments of high value for the effective and efficient implementation of institutional mandates. By pooling resources, social security institutions can effectively overcome barriers and reduce individual investments and risks.
