The good practice “Instant Pension” is part of the information system supporting the pensions business, being a solution that aims to reduce the average time it takes to grant requests for old-age pensions, presented by citizens to Portuguese social security. This solution automatically approves pension requests, validating access conditions and carrying out a provisional calculation of the old-age pension, based on the information available in the social security information system.
