The ISSA European Network (IEN) promotes regional social security cooperation and networking and supports the ISSA by promoting the Association's products and services, organizing events and facilitating the exchange of good practice between social security institutions in the region.
Europe has a long tradition of social security. Schemes are inclusive and well developed, usually with a high level of coverage. ISSA activities focus on the main challenges social security systems face in the region, such as ageing population, changing labour markets, increasing process automation, the emergence of new forms of work, as well as international collaboration.
To support its members in adapting to an ever-evolving environment, the IEN organizes, in addition to technical seminars, innovation workshops. These workshops allow members to share experiences and approaches on new technologies and their potential to automate internal processes, enhance customer experience and improve service quality. The IEN also organizes webinars, which are accessible to a wider audience and offer a flexible range of topics for member institutions to explore.
The ISSA European Network identifies priority topics for social security institutions in the region, develops and implements a programme of activities for the ISSA European members.
