Emerging trends in times of instability: New challenges and opportunities for social security
This contribution seeks to develop the themes and subthemes addressed by the 6th International Policy and Research Conference on Social Security hosted by the Association of Social Security Bodies of Luxembourg from 29 September to 1 October 2010 in Luxembourg.
With a forward-looking view, the aim of this Conference is to identify the effects of a new demographic context; analyse the consequences of the recent financial and economic crisis and related socio-economic changes; and assess the impact of major emerging trends on social security in the future.
