Strengthening the security in social security
ISSA Initiative - After Beijing
This CD ROM has been designed not only to provide information, but also as a tool for training. It contains numerous resources which you will be able to explore and share with those around you.

The toolkit designed for the ISSA Initiative constituted its main communication outlet. Presented in folder form, it comprised various summary documents and a CD ROM containing the major surveys carried out within the framework of the programme, together with a PowerPoint file which presented the conclusions of the Initiative.

The results of the ISSA Initiative were presented at a special session of the General Assembly held in Beijing in September 2004.

The new version of the CD ROM is a follow-up to that major event. It includes all the elements of the original CD ROM, plus the main highlights which made the General Assembly such a memorable occasion.

The Beijing Declaration , which both proclaims the convictions of ISSA Members and provides a guideline for their activities in coming years, has also been included.

The subtitle of the ISSA Initiative summarizes its objective: Strengthening the security in social security. This CD ROM is designed to help spread this idea throughout the world.

Multilingual CD-ROM (English, French, Spanish)
