ISSA Workshop "Gases under pressure"

Around 100 participants attended the international workshop "Gases under pressure", which took place during ACHEMA on 20 and 21 June 2012. Presentations were given by experts from industry, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, accident insurance funds, various authorities and fire departments. The workshop offered all those interested an international framework for a lively discussion and exchange of information and ideas in Frankfurt.

Nanotechnology: risks and opportunities

03.10.10 - 04.10.10 | KKL, Lucerne, Switzerland

On October 4th/5th, 2010, more than 200 European and US specialists were discussing the risks and opportunities offered by the new technology at a symposium in Lucerne organised by the Chemistry Section of the ISSA. The symposium was succedingly seeking to highlight the opportunities that nanotechnology offers for industry and medicine as well as the risks it poses. It also provided information on future legal regulations on a national and international level.

Praxisbewährte Methoden

In den letzten Jahren wurden die Methoden der Risikoanalyse um neue Ansätze ergänzt und unternehmensspezifisch weiterentwickelt. Die vorliegende Broschüre stellt Methoden, Varianten oder Kombinationen vor, die in der Praxis eingesetzt werden oder zukünftig an Bedeutung gewinnen können. Ziel ist es, eine praxisorientierte Hilfestellung für die Auswahl und die Durchführung systematischer Methoden zu geben.
