The Good Practice Award for Europe was given to the National Family Allowances Fund in France for the creation of the “mon-enfant.fr” Website , which provides comprehensive information on childcare solutions throughout the country for families and professionals. The Award was also given to the Institution for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention for Trade and Merchandise Distribution , Germany (BGHW - a member of the German Social Accident Insurance), for its Information and Knowledge Platform , that provides its staff with the current and networked information required to ensure efficient customer service.
The international Jury also awarded 19 certificates of merit, eight of which received a special mention, in the fourth and final stage of the global Good Practice Awards competition.
Speaking at the Good Practice Awards ceremony held during the Regional Social Security Forum for Europe, the ISSA Secretary General Hans-Horst Konkolewsky congratulated the winning entries.
“The innovative and ambitious winning entries from France and Germany, and the diverse submissions from across the region, confirm the remarkable ability of social security institutions to improve performance and services in a context of new demands,” he said.
“The ISSA is delighted to recognize these achievements, which we hope will serve as inspiration for social security administrators throughout Europe.”
The Jury gave eight certificates of merit with special mention to the following entries:
Certificates of merit were also presented to institutions from Albania, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Republic of Moldova, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Turkey.
