International Section of the ISSA on Education and Training for Prevention
The ISSA Section on Education and Training for Prevention is committed to make every person more aware of risks they are likely to encounter and to enable them to participate in the prevention of accidents.

The Section brings together institutions and individuals who are engaged in the promotion of Education and Training in occupational health and safety and of occupational risks prevention in firms, schools and universities.

As a member of the International Section of the ISSA on Education and Training for Prevention, you will benefit from numerous advantages:

  • International symposia and seminars to promote exchanges of information and experience;
  • International expert working groups on such questions as : educating young people in prevention, training of prevention specialists, training decision-makers for prevention, vocational training;
  • An international network of correspondents working on problems related to educational and training  for the prevention of accidents;
  • Publications based on the working groups' deliberations.

 

The Section has members from countries in Europe, the Americas and Africa: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Senegal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, United States, United Kingdom.

 

Application for membership

 

Are you interested in our activities? Do you wish to become a member? Please do not hesitate to address a formless application to the Secretariat of the Section on Education and Training for Prevention stating your current occupation, your main field of activity and what your interests are , either by mail or e-mail.

The Bureau will consider your candidature. The Secretariat will inform you of its decision and ask for the payment of your membership fees, calculated according to your category of membership. Financial considerations should not prevent an active participation in the activities of the Section.
