23rd World Mining Congress & Expo
WMC 2013 will be hosted by a collaborative team including four top Canadian universities: McGill University, University of British Columbia, Queen’s University, and University of Toronto, as well as the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). Canada is built on a spectacular natural resources base and continues to thrive as a world leader in the extraction of many commodities. As well, in this time of global economic challenges, Canada and its provinces are laying the groundwork for continued growth and prosperity through an expansion of infrastructure, particularly in the energy and mineral industries.
