ISSA Focal Point for East Africa
The Focal Point Office is located in Nairobi, Kenya, and works in close cooperation with the East and Central Africa Social Security Association (ECASSA) to address the needs and priorities of ISSA member organizations in East Africa.

Background

 

To better serve the diverse needs and priorities of the Association’s membership, new structures are being developed to ensure the successful targeting and delivery of ISSA’s programme at the sub-regional level by focusing on the priorities and challenges specific to various regions and language groups.

 

Objectives

 

The Focal Point for East Africa aims to develop ISSA's outreach and respond to the need for developing targeted activities for ISSA member organizations in East Africa. The Focal Point will use English as its working language. The Focal Point promotes cooperation and the exchange of social security information and knowledge on issues of interest to member organizations in East Africa in order to further support the development of social security in the region.
