A new Website in support of the Seoul Declaration on Safety and Health at Work has been launched to coincide with a major European meeting on prevention of occupational risks taking place in Germany.

The Website, www.seouldeclaration.org, aims to mobilize support for the Seoul Declaration, which was adopted in 2008 by some 50 high-level decision-makers from around the world as a major new blueprint for constructing a global culture of safety and health at work.

The Website, and the Joint Secretariat for the Seoul Declaration, are managed jointly by the SafeWork Programme of the International Labour Office (ILO), the International Social Security Association (ISSA), and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA).

The Website will be presented during the International Safety and Health Conference organized by the ILO in Düsseldorf, Germany, 3-6 November 2009, at the related high-level meeting convened by the ISSA entitled the "European Forum: The Seoul Declaration on Safety and Health at Work".

The Website currently exists in English, and other language versions of the Website are planned for the future.
