Active in prevention for 40 years

In 1970, the inaugural meeting of the ISSA Section for the Prevention of Accidents and Occupational Illnesses Caused by Electricity was held at the hospital of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution in Frankfurt am Main.

Time did not stand still. In the past 40 years, the world has changed to a degree that none of the founders could have imagined. Every aspect of life – from technology to society, politics and economics – has been affected by this change.
