Vilnius, Lithuania
The European Regional Meeting on Social security reforms: Empowering the administrators, organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in collaboration with the State Social Insurance Fund Board of the Republic of Lithuania under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 17 to 19 May 2006.
The agenda includes the following topics:
- Involvement of social security organizations in the reform process
- Administrative reform: between centralization and decentralization
- Administrative organization: new solutions, beyond the question of public versus private
The working languages of the meeting will be English, French and German. Interpretation into Russian and Lithuanian will also be provided.
