ISSA welcomes new member organization from Iraq

The ISSA Bureau welcomed a new member organization from Iraq during its meeting in June 2010.

The National Board of Pensions, founded in 2006, administers both the State Pension Fund which covers the workers of the public sector and the Social Security System that covers the private sector. It provides old age and survivors’ insurance, sickness insurance, insurance against employment accidents and occupational diseases and pays family benefits to some 2,588,422 persons.
