This part of the “FairStone”-Standard contains regulations and requirements to guarantee the safety and health of the natural stone industry workers. As a basis international standards from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as well as the knowledge of the Mining Section for Prevention of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) on good and successful practices in the mining and natural stone industry have been used.
