Strategic Re-engineering ProcessThe Swaziland National Provident Fund (SNPF) developed a strategic planning document in 2003 which pointed to a number of weaknesses.
These weaknesses included an inefficient computer system, deadwood, general inefficiency in the operational systems of the Fund, high administration costs, poor coverage in terms of benefits etc. Through the implementation of the said strategy, the Fund undertook a strategic re-engineering process which included the following activities:
- inefficient computer system – introduction of a top a range computer system; The above activities resulted in the following:
- turn-around times have reduced from an average of 10 days to 3 days; The Fund continues to strive for the fulfillment of all its desired goals as outlined in all strategies. Full text: 2Swaziland.pdf 107.39 kB
