A broad-based strategy for the management of the Social Security BoardIn today’s business environment, it is a well established mantra that stakeholder "ownership" is helpful to bring about greater productivity.
This practice enables and empowers a wider cross section of the organization and the stakeholders to participate meaningfully in the delivery of the end product. To the extent that the Social Security Board (SSB) has been able to deal with the challenges outlined by embracing and incorporating all persons within its sphere of control and beyond, and has managed to achieve the growth in its key result areas, this approach is believed to have worked positively. The Board intends to continue its approach and to implement any other innovative mechanisms as it seeks to optimize its performance. An important element of this approach lies in its capacity to build a broad-based ownership outlook in which all parties share in the success and rewards of the enterprise. The Board also wishes to commend this approach to like institutions with the suggestion that creative adaptations be applied on a case by case basis. Full text: 2StKitts.pdf 161.22 kB
