A comprehensive social security system seeks to protect every member of society from a range of risks irrespective of income and socioeconomic status. In this context, the extension of social security coverage is high on the agenda of social security institutions throughout Southern Africa with the focus on seeking the best ways forward in providing better protection for the populations. This technical seminar is being organized in order to share experiences, with a view to identifying innovative and successful approaches adopted as well as the lessons learned in the process.
