面向全民的社会保障 金砖国家
金砖国家 – 巴西、俄罗斯联邦、印度、中国和南非 - 其总人口占世界人口的 42%，其总面积为世界的30%。2011年，这些国家的国内生产总值合计占世 界的25%。 这个多样性的国家集团拥有共同的优先事项：扩大社会保障覆盖惠及全 民。2012年12月发表的国际社会保障协会报告“金砖国家社保扩面：比较研 究”是国际社会保障协会为其会员机构扩面工作提供指导的一个重要协作 成果。
国际社会保障协会公共网络门户提供关于全球社会保障发展的综合资讯、新闻、资料和分析。
中国荣获国际社会保障协会2012年亚太地区良好实践大奖
中国因其社会保障扩面成就斐然而获颁国际社会保障协会2012年亚太地区良好实践大奖。中国人力资源和社会保障部社会保险事业管理中心主任唐霁松先生谈及本机构在实现医疗保险全民覆盖方面所取得的空前成就。
国际社会保障协会中国会员联络站行将开设
国际社会保障协会将于2011年10月10日在中华人民共和国北京为其中国会员机构开设一个联络站。
该联络站将由中华人民共和国人力资源和社会保障部做东。开幕式后将随即举办一个关于社会保障给付和服务的充足性与质量的技术研讨会。出席研讨会者包括人力资源和社会保障部、国际社会保障协会在华各联系会员机构、省级社会保障部门和社会保险经办机构的有关高级官员以及来自该国的学界代表。
国际社会保障协会
国际社会保障协会乃汇聚各国社会保障管理和经办机构的世界领军国际组织。该协会为其会员机构提供信息、研究、专家咨询和交流平台以便在全球范围内设立和推进充满生机的社会保障制度与政策。协会成立于1927年，现有分布在150个国家的350个会员机构。
协会的目标是：支持卓越的社会保障管理，促进充满生机的社会保障，使之成为全球化世界中的一个社会层面。协会主张社会保障适应形势,不断创新，促进综合性、连贯性、积极主动和前瞻性的政策和计划，以便进一步确保获得社会保障的机会。
