Organizational effectiveness of select Indian social security organizations - A diagnostic study

This paper studies the state of organizational effectiveness of two very large Indian social security organizations (SSOs) through an appropriate model developed for the study and recommends strategies for enhancing their organizational effectiveness.

This study has attempted to provide an integrated understanding on the issue of organizational effectiveness with reference to the satisfaction of strategic constituencies of the subject organizations. The main focus of the study is to explore the relationship of organizational effectiveness with various factors related to strategy, organizational structures and processes. The quantitative and qualitative data was collected during first and second quarters of 2009.
