Development of the automated system for following up Monday ConferencesThe automated system for following up Monday Conferences is a Web-based computer tool that provides National Social Insurance Fund (Caisse nationale de prévoyance sociale (CNPS)) managers secure access – from any location and at any time – to managerial and strategic information.
This "anywhere, anytime" access allows them to take action, report their activities and follow the instructions and recommendations issued by the Director-General at the institution's steering committee meetings known as the "Monday Conferences" on a personalized checklist. Checklist entries are recorded. This innovation has made it possible to develop the reporting aspect, which is vital for an institution such as the CNPS. At the same time, it enhances information-sharing and the General Directorate's ability to monitor each department's activities, thus saving time and improving the quality of daily and strategic decision-making. Social security institutions would benefit from using this tool to facilitate real-time monitoring of activities and implementation of the Directorate's instructions. This innovation flattens internal relationships and overcomes physical distances, creating more direct interaction between manager and function. Full text: 2CamerounCNPS 2011-3.pdf 188.23 kB
