Digitization – winning the paper war
The Ministry of Social Development, through its Work and Income service line, is responsible for employment and income support services in New Zealand. Frontline staff process between four and six million client transactions every year. One transaction can require a minimum of five documents such as birth certificates and passports to verify a client’s identity and circumstances.
